Book Tickets for the Uffizi Gallery
The Uffizi Gallery is famous for its extraordinary collections of both paintings and statues, making it one of the most visited in Florence and in Italy.
Book your admission tickets to save time: you will benefit from skip-the-line priority using a separate entrance to the Uffizi Gallery.
How do I purchase tickets to the Uffizi?
There are two ways to book your museum tickets: by phone or online.
Keep in mind you will always have to pay €4 extra for prebooking tickets, regardless of how you book.
- Phone: The most economic way to book tickets and the one we recommend you do first. Why? Because you don’t pay ahead of time, only upon picking up tickets! You will have to pay for the international call (but you can try VoIP call, right?) but save on online fees that some tour operators may charge. Call +39-055-294-883, just keep in mind the time difference with Italy (+1 UTC) and phone center operating hours (these are local hours): Monday – Friday, 8:30am to 6:30pm, Saturday 8:30am to 12:30pm, closed Sundays.
- Online: You have several options, depending on whether you’re interested in only tickets or tickets included with a guided tour. If you’re coming during peak season in Florence, you might find tickets at one website but not on another so check all before booking. Booking online means you can have tickets for your dates right now (no waiting for the phone center to open if you’re on the other part of the world)!

Where to buy tickets?
The section above suggests 4 channels to book tickets from, you decide which one to purchase tickets from!
If you need assistance after purchase, you need to contact the website (or call center) directly to request help. We cannot intervene for you to make changes, cancellations or request refunds.
Keep this in mind about your ticket/tour, regardless of the channel you choose to book from:
- Your museum ticket is only valid for the selected date and time you book.
- If you’re going to be late, the museum generally allows entrance for up to 20 minutes after your reserved starting time. If you arrive later, you can no longer enter and will need to buy a new ticket at the entrance.
- After booking, you will receive a booking confirmation code – given to you over the phone if you book via the call center or by email if you booked online. You will not receive tickets over email. With this confirmation number, you need to pick up your actual tickets at entrance #3 at the Uffizi about 15 minutes before your scheduled visiting time. You then proceed to enter through entrance #1, a reserved entrance for anyone with pre-booked tickets.
- If you don’t book tickets online or by phone ahead of time, you enter through entrance #2. You pay for tickets when you get inside of the museum. The museum has a video info box at the top of the line indicating estimated waiting times to get in.
- If you are interested in booking a guided tour, keep in mind the museum entrance fees are already included in the cost of the tour. The voucher you receive by email after booking will indicate instructions for a meeting point and time for your group. Your guide will have picked up the tickets ahead of time and be waiting for your group with tickets in hand.
