Masterpieces at the Uffizi

The Uffizi Gallery’s collection includes priceless masterpieces and works of art in its over 45 museum halls.

What masterpieces are “must-sees”?

The museum merits to be visited in its entirety and to really appreciate and enjoy all of its artworks, even a whole day would not be enough!

For this reason, this section will highlight some of the most famous artworks within the Uffizi: you can read about some of these works of art so that when you do finally visit the Uffizi in person, you’ll know what you want to see. This section is still growing as we add more works of art we recommend visiting.

In addition, a new section of the site called “Visitor Trails” will have a host of both thematic and time-based itineraries to help you guide through the museum. So take a look there as well.
